lifting a weight

In this exercise we were supposed to animate a character lifting up a heavy object. I enjoyed hand drawing this, although next time I need to improve on continuity (the character's head kept on changing sizes). Furthermore, I know that I need to work on the timing of the character's actions, as some of the movements were quite jumpy and a little too fast. Still, I had fun doing this :)

Animatic

This is my animatic for the storyboarding project. I ended up going with the Ranger Rick script. I'm quite pleased with it, although next time I think I need to improve on the timing and the continuity of some of the shots.

3D

The task was to animate a heavy ball and a light ball bouncing at the same time. It was a good exercise to introduce us to the basics of Maya, although I definitely need to get to grips with  understanding the graph editing function, in terms of fine tuning the timing and arc of the bounces.

Storyboard

This was part of the story workshop; the task was to write a script about a scenario where 2 objects, travelling at different speeds, are on a collision course. For some reason I had sharks and robot girls on my brain that afternoon :P

Animation collab

This is random ^^ My part for a class project; my topic was a trumpet, and the person before me had Charlie Chaplin. It's a bit jumpy in places, but all in all I like it.

Yeehah! Tennis ball ahoy! This was an exercise to practice the stretch and squash technique. Only just noticed that the ground is tilted slightly; hope the ball doesn't roll away ^^

Right, first post. Check [X]
Yay, first animation! We had to take a circle and have it morph into something, and then revert back to a circle.
